Gate Installation FAQ
How much does a new gate cost in Marin County?
Cost depends on size, material, and whether the gate is automated. A simple manual gate is far less than a large automatic iron driveway gate. We give a free, detailed estimate after seeing your property, so the price is clear before any work.
How long does gate installation take?
Because we fabricate custom gates in-house, timelines depend on the design and current schedule. We give you an expected timeline with your quote.
Can you build a fully custom gate design?
Yes. We design and fabricate one-of-a-kind iron and wood gates to match your home and property. Our welder holds a degree from Napa Valley College, so the design is built and welded by us, not outsourced.
Should I get an automatic or manual gate?
It depends on your driveway, how often you use it, and your security needs. We install both, and we will walk you through openers, keypads, sensors, and solar options during your free consultation so you choose what fits.
Do you install the gate and the opener?
Yes. We handle the whole job: the gate, the automation, keypads, sensors, and access controls, then test everything before we leave. One team, one point of contact.
Tiburon Gate Safety Certification
Under Tiburon Ordinance 601 N.S., larger gates must be inspected and certified by a qualified inspector, and automated gates need UL 325 photo eyes. We inspect, add the photo eyes, and certify.
